What’s new in YL2B?
This fall in YL2B Saturday classes has been focused on experiments and conquering the fear of speaking English! In October we made videos talking out our hobbies to share with the rest of the class. We also read about about “Masks Around the World” and designed masks of our own based on our favorite emoticons. For Halloween we made Rice Krispies Treats in the cafeteria to make a spooky edible “graveyard” snack.
This month the students in YL2 are learning about the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico and giving mini-individual presentations to the rest of the class. We’ve learned many interesting things, especially about the wildlife and water-related activities.
