En este curso de 30 horas de ACS, para alumnos con un nivel avanzado de inglés, se examinará el tema de la justicia en los EEUU como un valor, un sistema, y una realidad material.
This trimester we will turn to the theme of justice in America, and examine it as a value, a system, and a lived reality. How is justice defined in the American legal and criminal justice systems? How is it enacted? How has it evolved? Who are some of the most important figures in American legal history? What court cases have had the most important impact on American life? What flaws have defined the execution of justice over the course of US history? These are a few of the questions we will seek to answer in the course.
This course will expand and strengthen students’ expression and comprehension skills in English, as well as their knowledge of American culture.
This course is designed for learners with an Advanced or Proficiency level of English.
