Exhibition "The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters in the Second Republic: Architecture and University during the 30s"
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the inauguration of the building of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters in the University City, the two faculties that currently occupy said building (Faculty of Philology and Philosophy of the UCM) together with the Higher School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) and the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), in collaboration with other institutions (including the International Institute), have projected the exhibition The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of Madrid in the 30s.
Through the selection of more than a hundred pieces of different types, the exhibition tries to bring us closer to the life of those first years of the Faculty of Philosophy by taking a tour through different aspects that shaped the golden age of the Faculty.
