“Don Quixote today: the richness of its reception” by Klaus-Dieter Ertler and Alejandro Rodríguez Díaz

“The articles compiled in this set come from one of the many academic acts that commemorated the Cervantes centenary of 2005, in this case an interdisciplinary symposium in Graz, Austria. The place of the act becomes important since most of the works are written from the perspective of Central Europe (Mitteleuropa) both in its content and in its theoretical approaches. According to the editors, the first half of the volume is devoted to general theoretical questions, while the second part is dedicated to special studies of rewritings or translations of Don Quixote, in which there is an important focus on Central Europe.”
