Cultural recommendation for the weekend

Photography exhibition “American Family” by David Alan Harvey

“For the past two years, I have been driving around my country to photograph American Families. It is a work in progress and will not be finished for at least two years. I started this project because I wanted to explore family relationships and I hope to put together a kind of collective family album.

I worked with black and white and color medium format film since both can be found in family snapshot albums.

All this work refers to my first family album that I made when I was 14 years old.”
