A picture is worth a thousand words! A picture is worth a thousand words!
Spanish: During the spring term, the students of the English Program for Young People have participated in a photography project.
The subject of photography has served as a vehicle for using English in an authentic and interesting way.
As part of the project, students...
- they investigated about important photographers on the internet
- They learned and talked of different styles and elements of photography
- They visited two photographic exhibitions in Madrid, and did research before attending: “Los Angeles de Julius Shulman,” Architectural Photographer, and “Desvelos,” Mujeres Africanas
- they wrote about photos they chose and made oral presentations in class.
The exhibition:
The students have taken photos related to different themes and have presented them in class.
With this project, the saying could not be more valid: "A picture is worth a thousand words." “A picture is worth a thousand words!”
