“Bone: the complete cartoon epic in one volume” by Jeff Smith
“Fantastic adventures with frequent touches of humor. Fone Bone (responsible and sensible), Phoney Bone (always thinking of a method to earn money with the least possible effort, which always ends up getting him into trouble) and Smiley Bone (smiling and totally illogical at times, with a certain air of Groucho Marx) are three cousins of the “bone” race that give this comic its title. Driven out of their hometown by Phoney's dealings, they accidentally end up in a valley beyond the known limits of their people, populated by humans, talking wildlife, and mysterious dragons, as well as threatened by a race of fearsome -although not excessively intelligent- beasts, the “showrats”.
