“In this exhibition we will see how there were a series of women in Spain, who from the farewell to the Old Regime and with the entry into Modernity, transgressed the behavior guidelines and the specifically feminine value systems to become modern women. These women configured a new imaginary through a series of changes in their behavior and image. Documentary photography is an invaluable tool to record these changes.”
