Presentation of the Galveztown Brigantine Project 1779

Next Wednesday, July 13 at 19:30 p.m. The presentation of the Brigantine Galveztown 1779 Project will take place in the Auditorium of the International Institute.

The presentation will include the following conferences and speakers:

"The Galveztown Brig: A Spanish project with the US". By Professor Dr. Ing. Francisco Fernández González (R). Cabinet of History of Naval Science and Technology. Naval ETSI – Polytechnic University of Madrid.

“Historic Brig Galveztown Arrives in America: partnerships and Preparation in America's Oldest Continental Port, St. Augustine, FL.” Delivered by Kathy A. Fleming, Executive Director of the First Light Maritime Society.

At the end, a Spanish wine will be served. The event has been organized by the International Institute in collaboration with the US Embassy in Spain.
