Reading and Writing about Non-Fiction

Kid's Club students learned about Non-fiction. They explored the differences between fiction story books and non-fiction books. Students learned that non-fiction books sometimes use labels to point out information about a picture or diagram. Kids learned how to respond to nonfiction books and to tap into their background knowledge to make a connections to their new learning.
