Exhibition "George Méliès: the magic of cinema"
“Tribute to who has been called the first cinema magician, Georges Méliès. The exhibition reviews the diversity of his work and the value it has had in the evolution of cinema history, a value that has recently come to light again thanks to Martin Scorsese's 3D film Hugo (2011). The exhibition explains for the first time the cultural, aesthetic and technical roots of Méliès and shows us that the origins of his world lie in the origins of cinema: animated shadows, magic lantern, phantasmagoria, chronophotography, illusionism, magic and fantasy. ”
