Cultural recommendation for the weekend
Exhibition “Kerry James Marshall: painting and other things”
“The exhibition Kerry James Marshall: painting and other things, is configured as one of the largest shows dedicated to this North American author. The artistic career of Kerry James Marshall (Birmingham, Alabama, 1955; lives in Chicago) is articulated through the creative treatment of themes related to Afro-American life, culture and history from multiple perspectives, thus providing new visions to issues related with racial politics, cultural representation and social emancipation.”
