Cultural recommendation for the weekend

Series of concerts "Blues, from Mississippi to Chicago"

“Blues, a purely American genre, is less well known than jazz and rock'n'roll. On the second he exerted a considerable influence and with the first he shared his origin in the black music of the southern United States. This cycle outlines the evolution of the blues. The first concerto for voice and guitar presents a vision of its development; the second focuses on a festive genre derived from blues, boogie-woogie; and the third offers a sample for harmonica and piano of the imprint of blues in classical music with the work of Gershwin, among other authors.”
