Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day from YL2

The YL 2 group started off the trimester with activities on Dr. Martin Luther King using the past tense. The students learned about his importance from him in the history of the racial equality movement in the United States. We discussed the nonviolent protests he led to gain equality for all peoples. The students finger-painted colorful peace doves to celebrate the holiday as you can see in the pictures.

The students painted doves in all colors to celebrate the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday, as you can see in the photo.
