All aboard with YL 6
The YL6 Saturday group is currently working on the topic of travel and transportation. After discussing the different modes of transportation and their personal preference the class was able to watch several videos on some of the most scenic train routes in the United States. After talking about American transportation students were paired up to work on a project creating their own custom designed train route itinerary throughout the United States. Students have been researching not only about the cities and monuments included in their routes but also the landscapes and landmarks that they will encounter on their “ideal American train ride”! They will be giving short presentations to the rest of the class next week.
