The International Institute presents a new edition of the Colloquia on Women. These colloquia They were born more than three decades ago as an instrument to analyze ideas and problems related to women's lives from the double Spanish and North American perspective.

The purpose of this year's Colloquium on Women is to bring together two eminent health professionals from the United States and Spain, whose research highlights a gender perspective as a response to bullying in today's society.

Dr. Michele Ybarra, CEO and Research Director of the Center for Innovative Public Health Research, and Judith Velasco, forensic psychologist at the University of Córdoba will open a debate on bullying, its repercussions and responses to it in today's society.

From their own professional experiences in the field of health, they will outline the new challenges faced by educators and all those who in one way or another try to respond to bullying in a world that is increasingly mediated, where Communication is now inseparable from digital technology. In both cases, they will talk about bullying from a gender perspective.

Dr. Michele Ybarra is the CEO and Research Director of the Center for Innovative Public Health Research. Judith Velasco is a forensic psychologist from the University of Cordoba. In this event, they will open debate about bullying, its repercussions, and possible responses to this phenomenon in today's digital world.

Drawing on their professional experiences in the field of public health, our invited speakers will explore the challenges posed by bullying and its “cyber” reiterations.
