How does the International Institute prepare for the SAT exam?

Utilizaremos la edición mas actualizado de los materiales diseñado por el College Board, se facilita a los participantes el entendimiento de la estructura del examen y los estrategias para abordar las tres secciones: comprensión lectora, matemáticas y redacción.

Our American instructors use materials designed by the College Board. Students learn how the exam is structured and are taught strategies on how to perform well on each of the three sections: reading comprehension, mathematics, and writing.

El alumno:

• will become familiar with the structure of the exam: the tasks, the types of questions, the time limits, the word count and the genres of texts
• understand what is expected when writing an SAT essay
• activate college-level language when writing the essay
• detect and apply editing solutions for the section writing and language
• adopt strategies to solve mathematical problems by identifying the most important facts
• grade exercises to identify their own strengths and weaknesses

Tomarán un examen de práctica en condiciones simuladas a largo del curso se realiza la práctica de dos exámenes completos y en la sesión final el mock exam, para practicar de forma real el contenido de la prueba.

Students take practice exams in simulated conditions throughout the course.
To enroll, you must have an Advanced (C1) or Proficiency (C2) level of English.

Para matricularte en este curso debes tener un nivel de inglés Avanzado o Proficiency.

• We offer a 5% discount if you pay your tuition until March 15, 2023. Discount not cumulative.
• The price of the course does not include the textbook.
• The course fee includes access to the English and Spanish resources of the International Institute's extensive library, as well as all of its services (book loans, magazines and DVD's). Enrolled students also have priority access to activities at the Institute.
• The last day of class there will be a "Mock exam", so the class will last 4 hours. Hours to be determined.
