#StayAtHomeReading #AtHomeWithIIE #AtHomeWithASM
From American Space Madrid and the Library of the International Institute we launch the Reading and critical thinking club #StayAtHomeReading so you can continue to enjoy American literature from home. The activity is part of our #AtHomeWithASM #AtHomeWithIIE virtual programming.
This sixth virtual meeting will be dedicated to the analysis and debate of the story "The Red Convertible" by Louise Erdrich.
This seventh virtual meeting will be dedicated to the analysis and debate of the story "The Red Convertible" (1984) by the novelist and poet Louise Erdrich. Claimed by both feminist and Native American critics, this is her most famous and anthologized story. It is available online in both English and Spanish. For those of you who prefer to read it in Spanish, we recommend the translation of Siruela Editions published in 2016.
After an individualized reading, the work will be discussed in a group using the zoom tool. We will have the moderation of Karen Secrist, PhD. who will make a brief introduction, ask questions, lead and encourage the debate.
