This series of five virtual workshops in Spanish offers a panoramic vision of the contemporary graphic novel in the US, with special emphasis on works that address the theme of social justice. Intended for adults, and of particular interest to educators, each session will focus on a specific work that has changed the genre for its treatment of issues of race/ethnicity, gender/sexuality, and immigration/xenophobia.
