The Library of the International Institute has inaugurated in the month of July an exhibition in the showcases of the entrance of the library with outstanding copies of the collections of the library of and about the author Mark Twain. Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) was born on November 30, 1835 and died on the 21st.
On the occasion of the cycle of conferences held at the International Institute on "The transition from paper" the Library inaugurated an exhibition in the showcases of the entrance with outstanding copies of that time belonging to the collection of newspapers and magazines. Likewise, a sample of books is exhibited in the area of the circulation desk.
New bibliographic exhibition in the showcases at the entrance of the library: a selection of outstanding collections of the writer Ana María Matute has been made as a tribute after recently obtaining the 2007 national prize for letters. On the other hand, copies of the collection belonging to the magazine Carmen y Lola.
