Jennifer Bird, Ph.D.
History of artJennifer grew up in Wilton, a rural town in southeastern Ontario, Canada. In college she became enthusiastic about art history. After completing her BA and MA in Canada, she moved to the US to do a Ph.D. in Art History at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania (completed in 2008). Since then she has lived in The Hague, Pisa, Montreal, and for the last several years, in Madrid. Learning languages has always been her interest in her, and in 2010 she earned her CELTA degree and began teaching English professionally. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, spending the day in the Retiro park, and as an art lover, visiting museums.
Jennifer creció en Wilton, un pueblo rural en el sudeste de Ontario, Canada. En la universidad se entusiasmó por la historia del arte. Después de completer su licenciatura y MA en Canadá, se trasladó a los EE.UU. para hacer un doctorado en Historia del Arte en Bryn Mawr College en Pensilvania (completado en 2008). Desde entonces ha vivido en La Haya, Pisa, Montreal, y durante los últimos años, en Madrid. En 2010 consiguió su título CELTA y empezó a enseñar ingles de forma profesional. En su tiempo libre disfruta cocinar para familia y amigos, pasar el día en el parque del Retiro y como apasionada del arte, visitar museos.
