Free talk for parents and teachers: Literacy activities for preschool and primary: Wednesday, November 21st, 19:00. The talk will highlight strategies parents and teachers can use to develop children’s literacy in the preschool and primary years.
Our speaker, Linda Gerena, from City University of New York, will model these strategies with stories and poems about the American holiday of Thanksgiving, but of course these strategies can be applied to other texts. See flyer for details. RSVP requested.
