A través del estudio de escenas, monólogos y técnicas de improvisación, los estudiantes perfeccionan las herramientas necesarias para interpretar personajes con diferentes roles, entrevistas y hablar en público. Se trata de un curso lúdico, dinámico y creativo, centrado en el análisis de escenas y vocabulario sobre artes escénicas.
Estará dirigido por Carrie Klewin Lawrence, directora de escena profesional e independiente con un Master en dirección artística por Catholic University of America, además de un Master en Música y Artes por New York University (NYU). Fundadora de la Red Internacional de Teatro y creadora de la premiada y comprometida comunidad “Variations Project”; ha enseñado teatro, cine y comunicación en más de una docena de universidades.

Improve your spoken English by taking the stage for a fun and unique learning experience!
Through scene study, monologues and improvisation techniques, students will sharpen the tools necessary to present a character for role-playing, interviews, and public speaking. Acting focused vocabulary, including scene analysis, will be at the core of this playful, dynamic and creative course.
Instructor Carrie Klewin Lawrence is a professional freelance stage director with an MFA in directing from The Catholic University of America. She also holds a Masters in Music and Performing Arts from New York University (NYU). Founder of the International Theatre Network, and creator of the award-winning community engaged “Variations Project”, she has taught theatre, film, and communications classes at over a dozen universities.
