ACS WORKSHOP: PLAYWRITING FOR ADULTS: SHORT PLAYS
COMING IN MAY!
Ever wanted to be a playwright? Students with at least an upper intermediate level of English will learn the basics of playwriting in this intensive 2 day, 6 hour workshop where you will create scenarios, breathe life into complex characters, and receive feedback on your own writing from fellow writers and a professional stage director. Students will be guided through the process of writing their own short play.
Day 1 – The basics of playwriting, plot structure, brainstorming ideas, character development
Day 2 – Feedback, revisions, next steps, open reading
