Learning English and American history in Young Learners 1
Every day, we are more and more comfortable with English in Young Learners 1! There is already a noticeable difference in our abilities this trimester compared with before the winter break. We are reading, writing, speaking, in English through games of all sorts.
February is Black History Month, so we have started learning about famous African-Americans and their achievements. We began the month’s journey with an exploration of jazz and jazz masters of the past, including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and Ella Fitzgerald. There’s a lot to look forward to in the rest of winter trimester!
