Do-it-Together: Participatory in Action
Imagine a world where creativity is not a solo endeavor, but a dynamic, collective experience. In today’s rapidly changing landscape, innovation thrives not in isolation, but through shared participation in creative processes. This is the essence of participatory creativity—the idea that creativity flourishes when people engage together, contributing their unique ideas, perspectives, and talents to solve problems and innovate in ways that transcend individual effort. During this workshop session participants will experiment with tools from The Participatory Creativity Guide for Educators that emphasize the distributed nature of creativity-based learning experiences. By the end of the session, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the social dimensions of participatory creativity and a heightened awareness of how creativity and innovation can be designed as experiences that all young people may participate in.
