Whoever thinks that her work responds to a matrix already formed before she left Spain is mistaken. She had her own thought that was developing as a heterodox orbit of Ortega, but what made her who she is, the immense work that is hers, was the radical experience of exile, which was opened to her after the tragic event of the War Civil. The exile became her homeland, and the absence a propitious intellectual space to be able to think about the general crisis of Western culture. ”
