 “Låt den rätte komma in (Let me in, and marketed as “Creature of the night” in Spanish-speaking countries) is a Swedish horror-romance film directed by Tomas Alfredson. It is based on the novel of the same title by John Ajvide Lindqvist, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. It tells the story of a bullied twelve-year-old boy who befriends a vampire girl in Blackeberg, a suburb of Stockholm. The film received widespread international critical acclaim and won numerous awards including the "Founders Award for Best Adapted Screenplay" at the 2008 Triveca Film Festival and the Méliès d'Or from the Federation of European Fantastic Film Festivals for Best Film. Fantastic European.”
