“Immigration in Contemporary Spanish Literature” by Irene AndrĂ©s-SuĂĄrez, Marco Kunz, InĂ©s DÂŽOrs

“Until now, research on migratory phenomena in Spain has been addressed primarily from a sociological, political or historiographical perspective. Little attention has been paid to the literary texts that reflect emigration, unlike what happened with those of exile, which have been studied in detail. This book deals especially with the two stages of Spanish migration in the second half of the XNUMXth century: the emigration of Spaniards to Europe, especially in the XNUMXs and XNUMXs, and the current immigration to Spain.”
