Library Storytelling Morning activity for November
Come to the “telebration” with us! Monthly Saturday morning meetings from October to June where kids can enjoy selected stories in English with Brian George (Oliver) as storyteller.
Recommended for children between the ages of 4 – 9. 35 children per session and two adults per child maximum. approx. 45 min.
Participation is free (The first week of the month the Friends of the Library and International Institute students will be able to pre-register).
Seating is limited; entrance is open until full capacity.
Registration starting the first day of every month at library@iie.es. Register including children's name/s and your favorite session (11 / 12:30 p.m.) and wait for our confirmation reply.

At 12:30 p.m. –English version with some Spanish to help understand
“The first imperial court of China is the setting for this Han tale in which the seven brothers who look, walk, and talk alike display their unique powers. First Brother can hear a fly sneeze 100 miles away. Second Brother can see the fly sitting on the Great Wall of China. Third Brother is a man of unusual strength and so on. As a team, they repair a hole in the Great Wall in a single day. The emperor, a cruel man feels threatened by “a person” of this strength. He sends off two armies to execute Brother Three. Then he begins the drowning, fire, arrows; but, as each brother replaces another, their unique talents are revealed. Finally, Brother Seven, in one fell swoop, takes care of the armies and the tyrannical emperor. The brothers are free to return to a peaceful life once again. The fine, detailed watercolor paintings recreate the era in which the Great Wall was built.”
