It tells the story of John “Scottie” Ferguson, a retired detective afflicted with acrophobia, is required by Gavin Elster, a former college roommate and millionaire, to discreetly keep an eye on his wife Madeleine, who he believes has been possessed by the spirit of a dead woman, Carlotta. Valdes. The film combines suspense and catastrophic science fiction with themes related to romance, mystery, death, deception and reality alteration.
