Cultural recommendation for the weekend

Exhibition “From the Factory to the world. Photography and the Warhol Community”

“Pop artist Andy Warhol's studio became known as The Factory. More than a physical location, The Factory was, as its name suggests, a model of collaboration between Warhol and various assistants, employees, artists, and friends who created large-scale works of art. The Factory not only generated paintings. He also produced film, sculpture, multimedia performances, and printed material for fields as varied as autobiography or movie star magazines. In the process, The Factory emerged as a vital community and a space for both cultural and social experimentation.”
