Screening of the documentary film “A Whisper to a Roar”

Next Monday, November 12 from 18:20 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. The first screening of the documentary “A Whisper to a Roar” will take place in the auditorium of the International Institute.

The documentary tells the heroic stories of brave democracy activists in five countries around the world: Egypt, Malaysia, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. From student leaders to prime ministers and heads of state, these activists share their poignant personal stories of struggle.

After the screening, a debate will be opened with the participation of: Ben Moses, screenwriter and director of the documentary, Lynne Moses, executive producer of the film, Carlos Westendorp, secretary general of the Club of Madrid and José Luis de Zavala, president of the Spanish Transition Foundation.

The documentary will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.
