"Vertigo" directed by Alfred Hitchcock

“Considered by many to be Alfred Hitchcock's ('Psycho', 'The Birds') masterpiece, 'Vertigo (Back from the Dead)' is without a doubt one of his most disturbing and disconcerting films. Set in San Francisco, James Stewart plays an agoraphobic detective hired to follow a friend's suicidal wife (Kim Novak). After rescuing her from the bay, he begins her obsession with the beautiful and troubled woman."
