The "good start" of the week for the Short Story Contest of the International Institute

We are once again looking for a good start (in Spanish and English) for the Library Short Story Contest (fourth edition) and once again we award a lot of books from one of our favorite publishers (siruela).

Participating is easy:

1. Think of a book that you liked a lot.

 2. Look for some suggestive and resounding phrase that encourages it to be continued.

3. Send it to us at library@iie.es with the title and author of the book

The winning phrase will have the privilege of being continued in the second part of the contest, where with 130 characters it will have to be given "a grand finale".

Good start fourth edition short stories

To demonstrate how easy it is to participate, we will share an example each week.

The good start of the week is:

"Hugo held the book that had caught his eye."

From the book “The invention of Hugo Cabret” by Brian Selznick, for the children's category in English.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR “A GOOD START”: FROM SEPTEMBER 15 TO OCTOBER 15, 2013.
