Book of the month: “Galíndez” by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán

GalindezHalfway between reportage and fiction, Galíndez narrates a historical event: the disappearance and subsequent assassination of Jesús de Galíndez, a Basque lawyer and combatant in the Spanish Civil War. New York, 1956: Jesús de Galíndez, representative of the PNV in the United States, works on a doctoral thesis on Latin American dictatorships focused on the figure of Trujillo and his bloodthirsty regime.
