2016 URBAN CAMP “SUMMER IN THE CITY” t-shirt design contest
First T-shirt design contest for the URBAN CAMP 2016 “SUMMER IN THE CITY” of the International Institute
Last month we held our first design contest for Summer in the City, where we encourage students to make their own design for this year's official urban camp t-shirts. We have received a great number of responses from many, many entrants, with great and creative designs, which has made it difficult for the Institute to choose a winner.
Once again, we congratulate Verónica Rojo Casado, fourteen years old, for having won the contest.
In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to announce as honorable mentions: Luis Prieto Alonso, eleven years old, with his colorful and complex design of a student in front of the entrance to the International Institute, and Noa López Martínez, eleven years old, with a artistic design of children swinging on the sea shore. These images are part of the website of the International Institute (www.iie.es) to show them to the public.
On behalf of the International Institute, the English Department would like to thank all participants for their hard work and creativity, and encourage everyone to submit their ideas for the coming year.
