NEW ACS MINI-COURSE: AMERICAN CINEMA: FILM AND THE FREE PRESS
COMING IN MAY!
This 5.5 week mini-course will use a selection of films about journalism in the United States to illustrate Hollywood's portrayal of the press. We will combine short activities in filmanalysis with a selection of readings about the historical events portrayed in the films to better understand the role of the press in US society.
This course is designed for high intermediate to advanced English students who are interested both in improving their English expression and comprehension skills, as well as expanding their knowledge of American culture.
