Are you interested in books that can be represented? We encourage children ages 7-12 to enroll in this course where reading aloud transforms the words on the page into short plays or musicals.
Each week, participants choose a different book to practice reading with each other, taking turns experimenting with different voices, accents, speed, cadence, rhythm, and rhyme. While they have fun acting in different stories, they practice diction, pronunciation, articulation, inflection, intonation, elocution and enunciation, all in English!
Join this group of boy and girl actors and improve your fluency in English.
The course fee includes access to the English and Spanish resources of the International Institute's extensive library, as well as all of its services (book loans, magazines and DVD's). Enrolled students also have priority access to activities at the Institute.
The International Institute carries out a level test only for adult courses. Yes you are new student please contact the Academic Secretariat of the North American Language and Culture Program.
