BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE IN ENGLISH:
Ralph Hamilton is editor of RHINO, an independent poetry journal in its 39th year of publication. He has an MFA in Poetry from Bennington. His poems by him have appeared in Court Green, CutBank, Pirene's Fountain, Blackbird, and other journals. He was recently nominated for Best New Poet 2015 and Over the Rainbow Books, a book list of the American Library Association, 2015. He has had residencies at Ragdale and the Anderson Center, and served on the board of the Ragdale Foundation. He was judge for Fifth Wednesday Journal's prize in poetry in Fall 2013, and served as guest poetry editor in 2014. Born in the southern US, he was raised in Florida, the Bahamas, England, Spain and the mountains of North Carolina. He is currently finishing his second book, The Barnyard of Boyage. Ralph has also been selected as guest editor for the debut volume of Glass Lyre Press's Aeolian Harp Anthology.
