The International Institute's "Binge of the Month Club" provides an enriching medium for adults to discuss an engaging series together English en. So sit on the couch, pop some popcorn, and get ready to binge. We can't wait to talk to you about what we've seen!
This month we will see the award-winning four-episode Netflix series When They See Us (This is how they see us), which is based on the story of the Central Park Five: five black teenagers who were falsely accused and convicted of assaulting and raping a white woman in New York City's Central Park.
Participants will watch the series at home before the activity. Then the series will be discussed as a group using the zoom tool. We have Hilary Misle as moderator who will give a short introduction, ask questions and encourage the conversation. We will also offer a viewer guide to deepen your understanding of the series and encourage conversation during the session.
