Come listen to the original songs of our Computer Music Pioneers to celebrate the end of the course. The participants will perform a concert for the public in the auditorium at the International Institute at 13:00 p.m.
This activity has been designed to teach boys and girls from 9 years old to create music through computer codes (live coding).
Jesus Jara will use a platform to teach children to create their own melodies and rhythms through computer programming and coding. Step by step, they will delve into algorithms and learn how to solve problems (through logic and creative thinking). In addition to the immersive hands-on experience, boys and girls will also learn about the pioneers of computer music in the United States: Wendy Carlos, Laurie Spiegel, Pauline Oliveros, etc. The sessions will end with an act in December for the public, playing music live with their computers on stage.
Twice a month, on Saturday mornings, for boys and girls from 9 years old, who will get together to create music through computer codes.
