Mini Immersion Camp: February 15-16, 2018

On February 15 and 16, "non-teaching" days in the schools of the Community of Madrid, the International Institute offers the Immersion Mini Camps in the English language for children from 5 to 11 years old. Two days, where the children will carry out a variety of activities in a creative environment that allow them to practice English in a natural and fun way, improving their oral expression, vocabulary and pronunciation. The activity program is designed to make the most of these immersion sessions:

• improvisation games: through examples and exercises, they will learn a new language, idioms and their use. The activities will be dynamic, imaginative and collaborative, requiring students to build on and improve the English they have previously learned.
• Activities Maker: it is a collaborative workspace for manufacturing, learning, exploring and exchanging knowledge where both new technologies and traditional tools will be used.
• American games inside and outside the classroom: students will learn several highly communicative American games. They will practice English while promoting knowledge of American culture.
• Odyssey of the Mind: Students will be taught creative methods to solve “problems” or “challenges” while working as a team.
