Founded by a group of charismatic and talented young people in 1959, the Princeton Footnotes has been providing low-key a cappella to Princeton University and far beyond for more than half a century. The originally male group transitioned to low voices in 2022. They are an incredibly versatile group of singers who bring a radiant enthusiasm to their music. Having performed around the world for more than 60 years, the group's repertoire spans decades of music and a staggering array of genres—from Frank Sinatra to Taylor Swift to Phish.
They have performed for US Presidents and fashion designers, at college and corporate events, on backyards, in ballparks, and for millions of people on NBC's “The Sing Off.” In addition to performing at both high-end and informal events, they host educational sessions where they give a cappella classes to singers of all ages and experience. The Footnotes love to put on an unforgettable show. Their culture, passion and diversity are what set them apart as an incredible group.
