In this cycle of two sessions in webinar or video-conference we intend to discuss some of the great challenges arising from the Covid-19 crisis.
The first session (“macro environment”) will take place next Thursday, May 14 at 1900:XNUMX p.m.. It will deal in some detail with the macroeconomic and financial situation in Spain. For this session we will have the participation of:
Mr. Ramon Tamames. Doctor in Law and in Economic Sciences from the University of Madrid, having followed additional courses in the Institute for Political Studies and in the London School of Economics. Since 1968 he has been Professor of Economic Structure, first in Malaga, and since 1975 at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universities of Buenos Aires, Lima, Guatemala, Beijing and Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid). Jean Monnet Chair of the European Union since 1993, King Jaime I Prize for Economics in 1997. In 1977/81 he was a member of the Congress of Deputies, and is a signatory of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. Full member of the Royal Academy of Sciences Morals and Policies.
D. Carlos Knight Corps. Doctor in economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Master in Economic Analysis from the London School of Economics. Former director of the Economic Analysis Division of the AIREF and national expert in the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission. Currently, he is the director of Macroeconomic Analysis of the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transformation and is part of the expert committee of the "Plan for the transition to a new normality".
