Inspired by the mission and vision of the American Community Gardening Association (ACGA), the Garden Project at American Space Madrid focuses on the creation of an urban garden on-site at the International Institute. The urban garden is a space for community members to engage in bilingual language exchanges, showcase American art and films, participate in ASM events, and grow healthy food. Participants engage in a variety of learning experiences focusing on garden design, planting and harvesting, community gardening and sustainability.
