XXI Colloquium on women: Spain – USA. Women documentary film directors, a dialogue between Chus Gutiérrez and Yael Melamede

The directors Chus Gutiérrez (Spain) and Yael Melamede (USA) will discuss their points of view regarding the role of documentary film in today's society. They will talk about their experience as directors, screenwriters, producers and actresses and also about the challenges faced by female directors in a predominantly male sector.

The discussion will be moderated by Linda Gould Levine, Montclair State University

After the colloquium, there will be a reception in the gardens of the International Institute

The event will be held in English and Spanish and there will be simultaneous translation.
