Kids' Club's Dreams and Biographies

In January Kids' Club students learned about Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life. This year Martin Luther King Day was on January 21st, the same day as President Obama's Inauguration. Reading Aloud with Dr. Linda Gerena

On Wednesday, November 21st, Dr. Linda Gerena of City University of New York gave a free talk for parents and teachers here at the Institute. Kids Club travels around the world with Flat Stanley

This spring Kids' Club students in Patti's group read Flat Stanley, by Jeff Brown. This book tells the story of a boy, Stanley Lambchop, who becomes flat after a bulletin board falls on him in the night. Being flat allows Stanley to have lots of adventures.
