She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and for the last eight years has been teaching English in Madrid.
Christopher is from New York City and has an MA in Linguistics. He specializes at advanced levels, in English for academic, business and technical purposes, in preparation for TOEFL and Cambridge, and in conversation and pronunciation.
Carrie was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but has lived in ten states, three countries, and the District of Columbia. Carrie has a Master's in Music and Performing Arts from New York University and an MFA in Theater Directing from Catholic University.
Since 1999 he has worked as a professor at the International Institute. He teaches classes for adults (especially advanced levels), conversation and exam preparation.
Michael is a graduate of San Francisco State University and has an MA from the University of Wales. He arrived in Madrid in 2001 and since then he has taught classes at all levels (beginners to competition).
Kate comes from Buffalo, New York state, and until arriving in Madrid in 2009, she has passed through Wyoming, California and China. She has a BA from Brown University and a Master's from Stanford University. She works primarily with children.
An Art graduate from the University of California Berkeley, she also earned an MFA from Mills College, California. She has specialized in teaching English to young people through art projects and “maker” activities.
Jennifer did her BA and MA in art history in Canada, after which she moved to Pennsylvania (USA) to do her PhD at Bryn Mawr College.
Alyssa graduated from the University of Illinois and studied theater and performing arts in Chicago before moving to Spain, where she continues to use drama and music with her English students.
Jari Lynn graduated from the University of Georgia, in the USA. She also studied for a year at the University of Cork in Ireland. She is a dedicated teacher who has been teaching English as a Second Language since 2002.
