My Favorite Place in Madrid
Above all, learning a language is about being able to communicate. The students in Young Learners 4 love their city of Madrid and are happy to tell others about their favorite place, especially in English! A 1-minute video is a great way to use English and technology to create something special. All you need is a mobile phone or video recorder, a friend to hold the camera, and a script of exactly what you want to say. And, of course, a cool place to talk about!
Here’s an example from one of our students, Luis. He did a wonderful job explaining the many things to see and do in one of Madrid’s most beautiful spots, the Retiro Park. Using a simple editing program to add graphics and show different locations made this 1-minute video really great. Thanks, Luis!
